Vietnamese Iced Cold Brew
One of the most common iced coffee preparations in Vietnam is called cà phê đá or cafe da (translated literally as “ice coffee”). It is a delicious combination of specialty iced coffee and a healthy portion of sweetened condensed milk. Some people like to add sugar to their Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but most find the sweetened condense milk provides more than enough sweetness. This type of preparation also seems to bring out extraordinary flavor in your coffee, and should be a staple recipe for hot summer days.
Our recipe is a slight variant on the traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee, but we assure you, it is just as sweet and delicious. Instead of using hot brew Vietnamese coffee that is poured over ice, we use our cold brewed coffee over ice with a hint of sweetened condensed milk. As you will see in the pictures and recipe below, this recipe is incredibly easy to make, and will leave you feeling happy and satisfied every morning!
