Salted Chocolate Iced Cold Brew

Let’s be honest – Iced cold brew is sweet and delicious on its own… But do you know what would make cold brew even better? Chocolate of course! For the Salted Chocolate Iced Cold Brew, we adapted a common specialty dessert coffee into an easy-to-follow cold brew recipe that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home! Before we start, make sure you have the following ingredients on hand: Cold brew concentrate, almond milk, cocoa power, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Getting started with this recipe couldn’t be easier – Simply add all your ingredients to a blender, and mix until smooth. Here’s what your blended beverage should look like (add more almond milk if you like a lighter coffee taste profile).

You will notice that your salted chocolate iced cold brew will have a very distinct chocolate flavor. We could caution you not to add too much cocoa powder to your beverage – Two teaspoons will be plenty to ensure a rich chocolate taste. The salt will also provide a nice contrast to the sweetness of the chocolate and cold brew concentrate.

Gave this one a try – You need to watch the amount of coca powder – Follow the recipe! That stuff packs a punch. Very delicious, though I think I am going to blend it and make a frappe next time, maybe just salt the rim on the glass. Thanks for a great recipe!

My husband thought it was a really weird combination, but I made him try it. He can’t turn down coffee. He loves it more than I do now. He asks me to make it all the time, so I printed this recipe out and put it on the fridge 😛

Salt and coffee is the second best drink combo out there…behind salt and a margarita of course!
